Position Summary
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator executes all aspects of the marketing and communication strategy in a broad range of marketing initiatives across print, digital, and social platforms. Responsibilities include layout design for proposals, content creation, social media coordination, photography, resume, and project updates, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about storytelling in the construction industry.
Essential Functions
Create & update marketing materials & content:Create visually engaging proposals, brochures, employee resumes, project summaries, and communications using Adobe InDesign and Canva.Develop content and ensure documents, website, and all materials are up-to-date.Maintain branding consistency across all platforms and materials.Communication:Schedule and manage content for social media platforms, website, and all online presence.Publish press releases, meeting invitations and company email announcements.Create client and employee testimonials.Organize marketing materials:Gather, edit and organize images in a structured photo library with tags and categories.Maintain a current library of project descriptions, key stats, and contract information.Ensure marketing files are updated and organized.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Microsoft Office, & Canva; WordPress and knowledge of marketing, specifically in the construction, architecture or engineering industry preferred.Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, as well as organization, time management, attention to detail, and attendance.Branding, social media coordination, and photography experience (DSLR or high-quality mobile), with basic photo editing knowledge.Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
Position Requirements
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED, with some education or classes afterwards.1-3 years of marketing experience, including InDesign, marketing, social media, or content creation; internship or professional experience in construction/AEC is a plus.Prefer Bachelor's or education in Marketing, Communications, or other closely related field of study.Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation - $25 to $33 per hour.Annual Bonus; depends upon individual and company performance.Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO ,401k plan, Paid Holidays, and additional voluntary benefits.
