Join Brixmor as a Project Manager, Construction, in our Carlsbad, CA office to oversee redevelopment, tenant improvement, and new construction projects at our properties. You'll manage all project phases, ensuring timely delivery within budget while collaborating with tenants and consultants. This role demands strong construction expertise, communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects. Regular regional travel is required, with potential work outside the region based on workload.

Responsibilities
Manage construction projects, including redevelopment, tenant improvements, and new builds, covering:Project planning and estimatingLease exhibit preparation and negotiationPlan reviews and entitlement managementConsultant hiring and coordinationBid, award, and contract negotiation/administrationEnsure projects meet lease commitments, budgets, and schedulesTrack and deliver multiple tenant improvement projects on timeSupport capital improvement projects as neededAssist with projects outside the primary region when required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture (preferred)5+ years construction management experience, or 3 years construction plus 2-3 years architectural/engineering experienceStrong estimating, scheduling, and contract administration skillsAbility to read architectural and civil/site plansFamiliarity with bid review and qualification processesExcellent communication and computer skillsRetail commercial construction experience preferredCADD knowledge desirable but not required

The base salary range for this position has been established as $90,000-$110,000 PLUS participation in our annual cash bonus plan. This salary range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
