Our Los Angeles based team is currently looking to add Senior Superintendents with experience supporting Higher Education projects in the greater Los Angeles market.

Responsibilities

Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control and a clean siteDevelop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, inspectionsWork in partnership with Senior Project Managers to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the projectDemonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the projectAlways promotes positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project teamMaintaining and developing relationships to reinforce a commitment to world-class customer service across the board: including co-workers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the design community.
Qualifications

10+ years' experience as a Senior Project Superintendent California public higher education university experience having successfully built projects valued at $10M and upProject experience should include ground up or major renovations on active campuses including but not limited to classrooms, labs, performing arts, dining, interiors, sports facilities and student housing
Must reside in the greater Los Angeles or Orange County area and be flexible with required business travel
