Position Summary
Assist in implementation of project-specific safety and accident prevention programs and maintain safe work areas through regular job-site inspectionsLead McCarthy's Task Hazard Analysis (THA) process and implement all safety and EEO/Affirmative Action programsMaintain thorough understanding of project schedule and budget, enforcing plans and motivating employees to follow throughAssist project superintendent in locating/onboarding manpower, developing/implementing project plans and maintaining current contract documentsSchedule and manage multiple crews performing various tasks across the project siteAllocate resources, plan activities, review work and manage consumables/equipment, including compiling a comprehensive bill of materials and coordinating deliveriesComprehend contract drawings/specifications and communicate with owners, inspectors and other tradesCreate isometric drawings and assist project engineers in the shop drawing/submittal process
Qualifications
7+ Years of experience in highly complex water or industrial construction projectsProcess mechanical experience requiredSelf-perform experience is strongly desiredAbility to work in a large team environment with a problem-solving, project-first mentalityDetermination to take control and achieve results in identifying issues, reaching resolution and communicating with all team members to ensure work is installed properly the first timeGeographically mobile and able to relocate within a region is preferred
